Detailed Schedule now available - see below. We are now sold out of the assigned room block at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. However, conference registration is still open and there are a number of hotels conveniently located within walking distance of the Hyatt. Even with the hotel sold out, we encourage you to still register for the conference. See below for a list of hotels in the immediate area and walking distance to the Hyatt. The weekend will be filled with networking opportunities with other families, medical and care workshops, a memorable kids program, a family and professionals banquet, and a kids carnival. The conference provides many opportunities to interact and get first hand updates from the leading SMA researchers and clinicians from around the world who are working to develop a treatment and cure for SMA.

You will experience firsthand why Cincinnati is known for its ‘Midwest charm’. Located in the heart of downtown, the Hyatt Regency is surrounded by a multitude of area restaurants, famed Fountain Square is right outside the hotel, and a skywalk that links the hotel to amazing shopping at Tower Place Mall. Cincinnati is home to major sports teams including the Cincinnati Reds, professional baseball’s first team, and the Cincinnati Bengals. The University of Cincinnati traces its foundation to the Medical College of Ohio, which was founded in 1819. Families will have many opportunities to explore the city. Don’t leave Cincinnati without crossing the Purple People Bridge to Newport on the Levee. The bridge is a pedestrian only bridge which gives visitors the opportunity to cross the Ohio River on foot and enjoy the Levee which offers premium shopping and the Newport Aquarium.
