Families of SMA strongly encourages its members and supporters to engage their Members of Congress.  "Grassroots" communication is the key to any successful advocacy campaign - you CAN make a difference.  Additionally, communicating with your elected officials can be an incredibly empowering and rewarding experience.

Lastly, but most importantly, there is a link to the Families of SMA Legislative Affairs Committee.  The LAC is a group of dedicated Families of SMA members and supporters who wish to be involved in all of our legislative and grassroots activities.  We welcome you to join - there is great power in numbers.
