15th Annual International SMA Research Group Meeting

This year the abstract submission date is March 1, 2011, with acceptance notification occurring by April 8, 2011.  Instructions for abstract submission will be posted on our website and emailed in early January,  2011.

This year our premier event with the SMA families will occur on Friday June 24th at Epcot Center, which includes admission to Epcot for a special fireworks show and a private party only for SMA Conference attendees.  The price for this is included in your registration fee.   If you elect to bring your family along this year, additional non-refundable admission tickets to this event must be reserved in advance for $80 each by emailing jill@fsma.org.  Please note that you will not be able to purchase additional tickets onsite during the conference. 

If you elect to bring family to the conference this year, please do not purchase any tickets to the Disney Parks yet, as all SMA Conference attendees will have exclusive rights to discounted tickets and great savings for afternoon pricing! These rates are only available to conference attendees. Details will be available in the coming months.

The Swan and Dolphin has been carefully selected to meet the many needs of our group. When you arrive at The Swan and Dolphin it is accessible to several parts without having to get in a car. It is accessible by water and walkway to EPCOT, Disney-Hollywood Studios, and Disney's BoardWalk entertainment district. The resort includes five pools, a beach, miniature golf, and Disney’s BoardWalk right across the walkway. Nearby are Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Magic Kingdom and a host of stellar dining, shopping and entertainment choices at the Downtown Disney Area.
