There are many ways to get involved. 
Whatever you choose to do, you can be a part of advancing research towards a treatment and cure for SMA.

To date, FSMA has funded almost $40 million dollars in research and provided thousands of families necessary equipment from our equipment pool.  We anticipate 2008 to be an exciting year, as we anticipate the results to some important questions. We hope you join us in our efforts to find a treatment and cure for SMA.

Walk-n-Roll
We are on a roll!  A Walk-n-Roll to find a treatment and cure for SMA.  Planning a walk-n-roll is a great way to kick off spring and spread awareness for SMA.  In 2007, Families of SMA held over 20 walks throughout the country.  Please click here to view an overview of the Walk-n-Roll Manual.

Golf Tournaments
Golf FORE Families of SMA by hosting a golf tournament in your area.  These outings are a wonderful way to perfect your putt and raise awareness about SMA in your community.  Please click here for a preview of what is included in our Golf Tournament Manual.

Dinner Dances and Galas
Party for Families of SMA.  Community dinner events can be as simple as a backyard BBQ or as extravagant as a black tie affair.  These events can be big or small and are only limited by your imagination.  To view a brief overview of our Dinner Gala Manual click here.

Bowl-A-Thons
