Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
The CFC code for Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy is 12175.
CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace giving campaign. Each year, more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally help to raise millions of dollars. Pledges made by Federal, civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
During the past year, CFC and workplace giving donations have helped Families of SMA to fund critical research programs. Every dollar contributed is important to be able to continue our vital work.
For more information please see the CFC website:

We hope you will choose to support Families of SMA again this campaign year.

Local United Way Campaigns
United Way Campaigns are underway in many cities right now. If you’d like to contribute through the United Way to Families of SMA, simply write in "Families of SMA" along with our address of 925 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 on the designation card.

One note of caution: before writing in Families of SMA, call your United Way representative and make sure that they will allow you to designate a charity headquartered outside of your district. Each United Way District determines its own charter and we have run into several areas that will not forward pledges to a non-local charity.  If your local United Way will only let you contribute to local charities, have the contribution sent to the United Way of Lake County, Illinois and earmarked to FSMA. Most local United Way chapters allow contributions to other chapters.
