Great News! Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy has been selected to be one of the charities featured on NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson’s Helmet of Hope. Jimmie’s Helmet of Hope will be worn during the Pepsi 500 Sprint Cup race on October 11, 2009 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.
In addition, Families of SMA will receive a grant, and the FSMA logo will be displayed on the back of the Helmet of Hope t-shirt that will be sold, with the proceeds from the t-shirt sales to be divided amongst the charities selected.
