Annual Campaign for Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Exceeds $500,000 for Funding New SMA Research.

Families of SMA has reached $500,000 in contributions through the 2012 Annual Campaign to support SMA research and family support services! 

Throughout the past ten weeks, the SMA community has shown tremendous generosity toward our mission by supporting the Annual Campaign.  To date, you have raised $504,506.  Thank you!

Because of your support, Families of SMA is on track to now realize these opportunities for the year ahead:
-Fund $3 Million in new research projects including two NEW drug discovery programs.
-Invest nearly $1 Million in family support and patient services initiatives.

Two significant new funding announcements will be made in the next two months for new drug discovery programs to add to and expand the SMA drug pipeline thanks to your support.
